POSITIVE CONFESSIONS,NO NEGATIVE TALK! OR THOUGHTS!, FEBRUARY 13, 2012

I received this from a Pastor of a very large church in this area. His teaching is always exciting, even when he is correcting through the Word of God. I want to share this with you this week, as we need to look at how we talk and think at times.

End The Day With God

The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He quicken me and gives me strength. In Him I find rest, comfort, and peace. Even in the midst of the storms of life, I am calm, cool, and collected because my mind is focused on Jesus. He keeps me in perfect peace. I have confidence in God's Word, and I trust Him to bring it to pass. I am assured that He will never leave me or forsake me.

I cast all my cares on Him; in obedience to God's Word, I choose not to worry or be anxious about anything. I will not allow myself to be fearful and troubled about any circumstance in my life. Health and healing are mine. Jesus paid the price for them and His Word says they're mine. I have released my faith, I have received my healing according to the promise of His Word, and now all that is left for me to do is rest in Him until the complete manifestation of healing comes to pass. My God has promise to give His beloved sweet sleep. Therefore, I receive a full night's sleep every night, and I fully expect to wake up in the morning refreshed,revitalized, and raring to go.

PRAISE AS RESPONSE, APRIL 30, 2012

PSALM 100:1-5

The Bible not only presents praise as a sacrifice we offer to God, but also as a response we make to Him. Psalm 100, for instance, encourages worshipers to give exuberant, uninhibited praise to the Lord. We do not need to subdue our response to His presence in our life nor in the worship services we attend. Both areas should find room for enthusiasm in worship and praise.

This same kind of joyfulness should mark our service for Him, and worship of Him. Christian service is not drudgery, and our response to the opportunity to serve should reflect that. Christian worship does not need to be a drab experience either. Joyful singing in worship forms the appropriate response to the presence of God in a service, and it actually enhances the worshiper's experience of God's presence.

Expressions of praise for the opportunity to serve can change one's view of service. What had once been a sigh can instead be a song, when praise is involved. This kind of praise-filled response to God is fitting for believers for two reasons.

First, they belong to Him, for He is their Creator. The image of sheep and Shepherd reminds believers of God's tender care for His people. It is only appropriate for us to respond to this compassionate care with praise.

Second, believers enter God's presence through praise. The door to God's presence hinges on thanksgiving and praise. We will greatly enhance our worship and our spiritual walk by recognizing God's presence and offering Him the response: PRAISE

I would like to share with you my Praise this week, I start my new position as Chaplain at Good Samaritan Society-Daytona this week. I will be helping the Sr. Chaplain there.
