Revelation 11:16-17
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, we give thee thanks O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
My husband, Mike and I have been seeking wisdom from God on where we are to worship in this area now. We thought we knew, the more we prayed and talked about it, the more we truly wondered if we were listening. Maybe we had gotten "too comfortable" where we were at. I believe we can become calloused over like a wax coating to everything, including the Gospel, and the Word of the Lord runs right off us.
When we fall on our faces and worship the One, the only True God Almighty, then we start our spiritual renewal. I have come to know that renewal starts with "Worship". Through praise and worship the Holy Spirit of God can and will move into our thoughts, our hearts, and He lets us see who and where we are. I want to encourage each one that reads this devotional this week to truly look at your worship to God. Let's surrender ourselves to Him through our worship. Let the Holy Spirit give us power to become true worshippers. To see that we are truly redeemed through the grace of Jesus. There is power in worship!!. Let's experience some heaven here on this earth. Enter in to the throne room of God through worship. We can do this as individuals, as well as together as a the body of Christ. I believe we do not worship enough as individuals, we always want someone else to get us there, or take us there; yet we as believers in Christ can take the hand of the Holy Spirit and He will walk there with us. He will show us the way. He will show us the power of the Cross in our lives as believers in Christ.
Be encouraged my friends, Worship, Worship, and then Worship some more.!!!
God bless you in all you do this week. Be in a Bible believing and teaching fellowship, and for sure be in one that understands the power of worship through the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray for you, send us your requests at NWheeler1971@aol.com
I pray that if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, that you choose Him today. Choose life and blessing. I want to see you all in heaven too.
